Between a gold-digging crack head mother and a father who was so consumed with his own issues that he ignores the signs of abuse, Raven and Kelis are ready-made statistics. Despite their struggles, Raven tries to stand strong, keeping her faith in God, and refusing to give up on herself. Kelis struggles with her faith and falls into the street life as she continuously runs from the Lord. Facing grave danger and running out of chances, Kelis faces the choice of continuing to dance with the devil or turn to God, her only hope for surviving in the streets. Can Raven serve as an instrument of God and change not only her life, but those of her sister and other non-believers?
