Tony Spencer is 68, married with 2 boys and 3 grandchildren. He spent over 40 years in the print industry, and retired in 2015. He has self-published 35 books (most of the early ones were single story books) since 2012, and published his 13th novel in October 2018. He also edits produces a 12pp printed programme (with a 20pp colour online version) for his local football (soccer to Americans) team. When he is not writing fiction or diverted by FaceBook, he is babysitting grandchildren, gardening, family history researching, writing a 700-word weekly football report (with 21 years' experience under his belt for local newspapers), running the village hall bar, or serving as Yateley Town Mayor.
