The Second Coming of Angela

Thomas was sound asleep at 3 am when the phone began to ring incessantly. As he grabbed the phone and mumbled a hello, the voice on the other end caused him to bolt upright. It was Angela’s voice, the wife from whom he had been separated before her supposed death five years earlier. Her plea was urgent. She was in grave danger and needed his help, which would require his traveling to Brazil. Ultimately, he reluctantly agreed, if only for the sake of his daughters. The journey to rescue her would take him to Sao Paulo, Rio, Brasilia, and Manaus, 1,000 miles up the Amazon River. He would encounter a Brazilian love interest who becomes an integral part of his ultimate rescue plan. The mission would end up putting him in the crosshairs of dangerous criminals from both Brazil and New York, all of whom would ultimately seek to eliminate him. Is survival possible?

Moving Forward: A Stickman’s Journey for Hope and Meaning

In Moving Forward: A Stickman’s Journey for Hope and Meaning, Brig Sorber, one of the original movers (stickmen, if you will) of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, the largest moving franchise is North America, gives hope to those who feel they do not have the pedigree, diploma, or energy to move forward.

Believing that wealth was the true key to happiness, Brig Sorber powered his way to financial success only to find it an empty and shapeless place. After a heavy bout of despair, Brig turned to his faith which had been shelved like a dusty old book. He sensed God asking him, “are you interested in a new approach?” Having nothing to lose, he gave his life to Christ and, in doing so, gave Him the business as well. Over time, Brig realized that he (like everyone) is greatly loved by God.

In Moving Forward, Brig gives us an inside look into his very average life as God unearths truth, knowledge, and lessons from a past full of hurt and pain. Drawing from biblical principles and past mistakes and hardships, Brig shows us that we can stop believing the lies others tell us—and the lies we tell ourselves—that we are not worthy or capable of a more meaningful life. Instead, we all have the ability to move forward and make something great of our lives—if we are willing to trust in God’s direction and use the specific talents he has given to each of us.

Before she knows what’s happening, Molly’s unusual demeanor has the police targeting her as their lead suspect. She quickly finds herself caught in a web of deception, one she has no idea how to untangle. Fortunately for Molly, friends she never knew she had unite with her in a search for clues to what really happened to Mr. Black – but will they be able to find the real killer before it’s too late?

A Clue-like, locked-room mystery and a heartwarming journey of the spirit, The Maid explores what it means to be the same as everyone else and yet entirely different – and reveals that all mysteries can be solved through connection to the human heart.

Jackson Penn – an Uncertain Boy

This novel is a Historical Adventure and Bisexual Romance. It started as an adult sequel to “Huckleberry Finn”, but then took off on its own wings. It follows an adolescent living in Antebellum America as he tries to escape a difficult and violent childhood by setting out for the goldfields with his great friend, Dan, an escaped slave, only to find his fate ruled by his father’s stolen treasure.
At first they are embroiled in “Bleeding Kansas” as Free State and Slave State radicals clash in an almost civil war. This is followed by two years with an Indian tribe where he learns to kill and to love without remorse and realises the significance of his father’s treasure; then several months in the company of the radical Abolitionist, hero and rascal John Brown ending with the seige at Harper’s Ferry where he loses his friend and now lover, Dan – but finds new loves; and, finally, in street fighting in the New York Draft Riots of 1863 before going West to try “roughing it” with his new friend and lover, Sam, a talented writer.
Alongside these adventures there is a study of a boy coming to terms with his social, sexual and racial identity and his varied and tumultuous loves. Beyond being a good story this book combats the hysteria of recent years, that has robbed the young adolescent of the right to consent, by giving a realistic analysis of an adolescent that deals with “forbidden truths”: for example, that “innocence” has nothing to do with not having sex and that “normal” adolescents are not necessarily entirely heterosexual and can be attracted by adults.

Dreaming Big Again

DREAMING BIG AGAIN.I wrote this content to share some of my experiences worldwide. The content took the form of a book to travel as far as possible. It is an honest and sincere effort to convey all my thoughts to as many people as I could, as far as possible on the globe. The purpose of this book is to highlight an existing problem that, unfortunately, is rarely mentioned, and we all push it under the rug. One billion of our fellow human beings have a mental illness, according to statistics released by the UN on October 10th, world health day. One person (son, father, daughter, mother, brother, sister, beloved for some) ends his life every 40 seconds. The need for a different and new way of thinking is no longer a luxury that few have; it is a necessity. Self-development, Auto-suggestion, and Positive thinking are now more crucial, more important than never before. This new way of thinking should be a must and should become a way of living for us all, as long as, of course, we are open to it. Our story hero, Jason, was born and raised in Greece, one of the world’s most beautiful countries. Undoubtedly the country that generously shared ancient knowledge and wisdom with most people. At the same time, a country that now knows very well what anxiety, depression, and despair mean and has been punished and tested for years. Unfortunately, the phenomenon is now global and is not a privilege of the Greek people anymore. Every year more and more countries are in a recession, and millions of people suffer through poverty. This book has not been written to analyze the problem, of course, nor does it have scientific content, nor even close. It has been written hoping that it would help some of our fellow human beings relate to our hero’s story, but mainly to show another way of living, an alternative. The book you are about to read is an attempt of the storyteller to introduce you to a different way of thinking and living and open a door for you to a world that most people, unf

Niout

Thirty-two years before the story begins, a group of adventurers had used the abundant energy storage possibility enabled by a recent innovation to leave the land on an enormous floating shipyard and anchor in the middle of the Pacific to start a new lifestyle on mega rafts. Now there are around 350 rafts, each hosting about 12,000 residents and industrial and agricultural sites. It is a city (Niout) of more than three million people with its own government and defence force. They run a planned (socialist) economy. Religions are not banned; however, temples and clergy are.

CLARR (late twenties) is a Niout-born resident, working at recycling and plantation as every resident has two halftime jobs. He occasionally has sex with LORYA, a young and beautiful Niout-born doctor; however, they both are reluctant to call it a relationship. Besides, Clarr has a crush on SUSAN, a beautiful sporty woman who seems to have some sort of a relationship with Clarr’s work colleague and close friend. Susan hints to Clarr that she likes sporty and cool men, not someone humble like him.

TARN is a top-rank commander in the Defence Quarters. This defence force is tasked with thwarting the attacks from the outer world, never letting them grow into a fight or war. The global capitalist world has reasons not to let this new lifestyle flourish, and they keep coming back with armed fleets to start a conflict. The Defence Quarters develop secret methods or high-tech tricks to bounce the assaults. These are highly confidential, called “shells”.

One of the other three top-rank commanders gets lured into sharing the shell details with the US by an online AI algorithm, leaving Niout with only one shell to use, which Tarn saves at the last second. Nevertheless, that one gets revealed at the next attack. So now Niout has no defence, apart from certain secret instructions prepared by the founders.

The secret instructions will have to be employed pretty soon while a hostile fleet is approaching. The

It Ends with Us: A Novel (Volume 1)

Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. And when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life seems too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.

As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

An honest, evocative, and tender novel, It Ends with Us is “a glorious and touching read, a forever keeper. The kind of book that gets handed down” (USA TODAY).
